The HDD specialist, Seagate, proves with the BarraCuda that the opposite is now possible. Although hard drives aren’t typically the power guzzlers in a PC, the fact that the Seagate Barracuda is an economical model is clear.
It is therefore rather surprising that the HDD, despite a significantly lower power consumption percentage, enables a rich data transfer of 190 megabytes per second. The BarraCuda achieves this dream value with a speed of 5,400rpm. Nevertheless, it remains restrained in terms of volume development and offers a lot of storage space with 8TB.
The BarraCuda is very economical, quiet and at the same time enormously fast, when compared with the many HDDs of other manufacturers.
