Closed-Back Design

The Shure SRH1540 Headphones utilise a closed-back design, improving sound quality and reducing background noise. They are equipped with 40mm neodymium drivers that are supported in a steel driver cage. Featuring a vented centre pole, this dedicated frame improves linearity whilst eliminating internal resonance. The Shure SRH1540 Closed-Back Headphones have an ergonomic design, with a fully adjustable and padded headband. Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy, the yoke is lightweight and sports a dual-frame design, ensuring comfort throughout your extended audio sessions. The earpads are cushioned with a low-density, slow-recovery foam and covered with premium Alcantara. Breathable, comfortable, and plush.

Extended Cable

To ensure long time usage with the Shure SRH1540 Closed-Back Headphones, two cables have been included within the scope of delivery. Both are 1.8m long and feature dual-exits. The 3.5mm connectors are gold-plated for secure connectivity and a larger 6.3mm adapter is included for professional use.

These cables are easily detachable, and you can extend the life of your headphones should one deteriorate. To prevent accidental detachment, the connector is very snug and needs to be firmly pushed into place. A satisfying click will be heard when correctly inserted. It should be noted that the L and R earpads need to be matched to their corresponding colour. For example, the right is marked in red. When detaching, it is imperative you pull straight and not at an angle, as it will not disconnect otherwise.

Included Extras

In addition to the two cables and audio jack adapter, the Shure SRH1540 Closed-Back Headphones include a number of extras, all to promote longer use of the product. First of all, there is a hard, zippered case for securely storing your headphones when not in use.
